On 14 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev took part in a solemn meeting dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Vladislav Ardzinba, an outstanding statesman and political figure, the first President of Abkhazia. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of South Ossetia.
On 14 May the Minister of Foreign Affairs of theRepublic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev attended the presentation of the books of the first President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ludwig Chibirov “Issues of ethnogenesis and history of Ossetians” and “Names. On 8 May in Tskhinval, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a solemn ceremony was held to lay the Garland of Glory and Remembrance at the obelisk to the fallen during the Great Patriotic War on the Walk of Fame near the Eternal Flame.
On 5 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev took part in a solemn ceremony - presentation of a series of commemorative coins dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the heroes of the Soviet Union from South Ossetia.
We have familiarised ourselves with the latest consolidated report by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe on the ‘Conflict in Georgia’, which repeats time after time unfounded allegations about the so-called occupation of Georgia and the dire human rights and security situation in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and contains the traditional set of ‘instructions’ on the withdrawal of Russian troops, the immediate admission of international human rights defenders and so on.
On 25 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev, took part in the scientific and practical conference ‘The Great Patriotic War of the Soviet People: Philosophical and Methodological Aspect’, which was held at the South Ossetian State University named after A.A. Tibilov.
On 24 April Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Elbakiev.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia O.M. Bartsits on the occasion of appointment to the high state post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

On 19 April in Tskhinval an exchange of diplomas on ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on settlement of issues of dual citizenship, signed on 20 September 2021 in Tskhinval took place.
