As it’s known, the 31st annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly was held in Bucharest from June 29 to July 3, during which a declaration was adopted, including a long-standing call for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Russian military forces from the occupied Georgian regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
Similar documents have been accepted not for the first time since August 2008. South Ossetia has repeatedly voiced its position on the destructiveness of discussing biased documents detached from the reality. We once again draw attention to the need of accepting the existing geopolitical realities in the region and respecting the South Ossetian right to freedom and independence.
Unfortunately, we once again have to state the policy of double standards pursued by European structures and the degradation of international institutions.
