On July 20, in framework of the visit to Nicaragua, Akhsar Dzhioev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, met with Denis Moncada Colindres, Minister of Foreign affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Republic of Nicaragua Narim Kozaev participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, Heads of the Foreign Ministries discussed issues of the bilateral agenda in the context of further strengthening of the South Ossetian-Nicaraguan relations, including through diplomatic institutions, exchanged opinion on issues of global and regional security at the background of the current international situation and noted with satisfaction the similarity of South Ossetia’s and Nicaragua’s stands on the general contemporary problems.
The meeting was held in a frank and amiable atmosphere.
After the meeting the parties exchanged memorable gifts.
