On February 4, the Acting Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev hosted a meeting with the Head of the ICRC Mission in the Republic of South Ossetia Said Assadullah and the Head of Protection Department of the ICRC Mission in the Republic of South Ossetia Marco Dosljak.

The Alan Society of Ossetians in Turkey held its second series of courses on preparing traditional Ossetian dishes. The training was conducted by Ossetian women living in Turkey and the courses were open to anyone interested. In the first set of courses participants learned how to bake traditional Ossetian cheese pies, and in the second set, they learned how to cook traditional Ossetian dumplings called khabinty.

The press conference was dedicated to the relevant agenda point of new regulations of crossing the border between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation for citizens of Russia under the age of 14.
On January 19, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Narim Kozaev visited the Embassy of Venezuela in Moscow.
