Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent congratulatory notes to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal al-Mekdad and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation Bashar al-Jaafari on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic.
In his note Akhsar Dzhioev emphasized that the establishment of diplomatic relations became a solid foundation for the strong alliance, solidarity and constructive interstate cooperation, expressed confidence in further strengthening and extension of relations between Tskhinval and Damascuc and wished the fraternal Syrian people peace, kindness, prosperity and success.
