On August 2, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev hosted a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev.
Head of the Foreign Ministry informed the President on the results of the visit to the Republic of Nicaragua, where the South Ossetian delegation participated in the solemnities, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.
Akhsar Dzhioev reported on the meetings held in framework of the visit, in particular, meetings with President of the Republic of Nicargua Daniel Ortega, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua Denis Moncada and Adviser to the President of the Republic of Nicaragua Laureano Ortega Murillo.
The assistance extended by Russian foreign missions, in particular, Russian Embassies in South Ossetia and Nicaragua, as well as the one in Caracas, through which the South Ossetian delegation had been transiting, was stressed.
Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev delivered to President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev a welcoming address and memorable gift from President of Nicaragua Comandante Daniel Ortega and Vice-President Rosario Murillo.
