On 4 October, as part of the programme of the VIII Young Diplomats Forum of Eurasian countries, bilateral consultations were held between representatives of Councils of Young Diplomats of Foreign Ministries of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation. The colleagues discussed areas of cooperation in the format of the Council of Young Diplomats and expressed the hope for further fruitful cooperation.

Today, on September 17, South Ossetia celebrates the 16th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation. The framework agreement became the first comprehensive basic document between the two countries.
