А.М. Джиоев и З.Н. Гассиев оставили запись в книге соболезнований

On March 26, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and made an entry in the Book of Condolences, opened in connection with the tragic events of March 22, 2024 in Crocus City Hall.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia extended to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation a note of condolences for the consequences of the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall. 

The note, in particular, reads:

“People in South Ossetia have received with deep sorrow the terrible news on the mass killing of civilians, at the hands of murders, who at once destroyed numerous human destinies.

On March 21, a meeting between the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. 

The parties exchanged opinion on relevel issues of the bilateral relations, including coordination of foreign policy and extension of international ties of the Republic. 

The upcoming joint work in framework of the next round of the GID on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia, scheduled for the beginning of April, was raised.

The events of the “Crimean Spring” of 2014 and the results of the all-Crimean referendum, conducted on March 16, 2014 in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and in the city of Sevastopol, at which in compliance with the international legislation and the UN Charter the residents of Crimea freely supported the issue of reunification with Russia as a subject of the Russian Federation, became the act of restoration of the historical justice.

On March 15, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev participated in a flower-laying ceremony held in the Sukhum Park of Glory in commemoration of the soldiers, who fell in the March 1993 offensive operation.
