On June 21-22 a South Ossetian delegation participates in the events, timed to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, which are organized in Brest.
On the night of June 22, the Chamber Orchestra of the Brest Regional Philharmonic will perform Music of Memory at the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex. Later, a commemorative meeting-requiem “Be Worthy of the Memory of the Fallen” and a flower-laying ceremony to the Eternal Flame will be held. A military-historical re-enactment entitled “June 22, 1941. The Brest Fortress” will be performed at the Kobrin fortification.
About 40 delegations from Belarus and abroad will participate in the events.
