On June 9, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev hosted a meeting with an Austrian representative Patrick Poppel, who arrived in Tskhinval as an international observer of the parliamentary elections in the Republic of South Ossetia.
During the meeting Akhsar Dzhioev expressed gratitude to the guest for the interest in political events in the Republic. According to Mr. Poppel’s opinion, the elections were held in full compliance with the legislation of the Republic of South Ossetia and international electoral standards.
