Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent a congratulatory letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of Russia Day.
The letter, in particular, reads:
“The main holiday of the state, which symbolizes the power of Russia, unites all Russian peoples by love to common Motherland, by loyalty to their roots, by respect to their history and commitment to creation, good neighborliness and peace.
In South Ossetia we fully share traditional values with Russia and also celebrate Russia Day as a public holiday, which increases the awareness of belonging to the great state, its past, present and future.”
Akhsar Dzhioev also extended a congratulatory note on the occasion of Russia Day to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov.
