On June 8, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev hosted a meeting with representatives of the Republic of Turkey Burhan Hosity and Sadrettin Kusaty, who arrived in Tskhinval as international observers for the election of deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia of the 8th convocation.
Akhsar Dzhioev expressed gratitude to guests for the visit and interest in the political events happening in South Ossetia. In their turn, Burhan Hosity and Sadrettin Kusaty emphasized the importance of the forthcoming elections for further development of South Ossetia and improvement of its political institutions.
The participants of the meeting expressed confidence that the elections would be held in accordance with acting legislation and international standards.
