Flower-laying ceremony was held at the Memorial Monument to 13 Communards shot by the Georgian Mensheviks on the Zguder Hill on June 20, 1920.
A nationwide minute of silence was observed at 1:00 p.m. and memorial services for the victims of the Ossetian Genocide were held in churches of Tskhinval.
