On 18 March, Sputnik press center hosted a press conference of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of South Ossetia M.M. Kulakhmetov on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on Alliance and Integration.
During the press conference the results of 10 years of cooperation within the framework of the Treaty were discussed, the current state and the prospects of development of strategic partnership between South Ossetia and Russia were assessed.
It was noted that the Treaty fully retains its significance and serves as a reliable legal basis for promotion of bilateral cooperation in all directions, further development and strengthening of friendship between the peoples of South Ossetia and Russia.
