On 25 March, a regular meeting of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia was held. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, Head of the Department for Work with Foreign Agencies of the Ministry A.G. Sanakoev, as well as employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who are members of the Council.
During the meeting an assessment of the work was given, as well as plans for the year and activities for the coming months were outlined. There was also discussed collaboration of the Young Diplomats Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia with state agencies and youth organizations of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Russian Federation and other friendly states.
The Council of Young Diplomats was established in May 2024 with the aim of activating work with young employees, ensuring continuity and maintaining traditions of the South Ossetian diplomatic service, supporting the growth of professionalism and qualifications of young personnel. The main goals and objectives of the Council of Young Diplomats are to assist in the professional adaptation and development of young staff newly recruited to the Ministry, as well as to foster and maintain business contacts with young diplomats of foreign countries and youth public organizations.
