Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vitaly Ignatiev extended a congratulatory letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev on the occasion of the Constitution Day.
The letter, in particular, reads:
“The Basic Law in force, adopted at the nation-wide referendum of 2001 marked a new era of building a democratic state, based on the principles of justice and freedom. This was not an easy path, but the consolidated South Ossetian nation have valiantly overcome the challenges. Today, the sovereign state enjoys peace and creation, develops and strengthens the economic potential, guarantees the rights of citizens and preserves native traditions.
The peoples of Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia have long been joined by firm bonds of friendship. I strongly believe that the bilateral dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation will develop dynamically and will be filled with new contents.”
