From September 25 till October 7, 2023, employees of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry attended short-term professional development courses in the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of Russia entitled “International relations. The Foreign Policy of Russia.”
The teaching stuff of the Academy and invited experts conducted the lessons. As part of the courses, meetings were held with members of the CIS Club of the Diplomatic Academy and with the leadership of the 4th CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, at which relevant issues of the bilateral relations and the prospects for further cooperation were discussed. Employees of the Ministry visited the museum and the library of the Diplomatic Academy, where saw a permanent photo exhibition “From the Lyceum to the Academy”, learnedabout the history of the building and the creation of the library, observed a stand with literature on South Ossetia from the library’s collections, and were taken on a short excursion to the fund of rare books.
At the closing ceremony, the attendees of the courses were awarded Certificates of completion.
