Foreign Minister of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vitaly Ignatiev extended a congratulatory letter to the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev on the occasion of the Day of the Republic.
The letter, in particular, reads:
“This holiday embodies the resilience and courage of the people of South Ossetia, who, despite difficulties and challenges, confidently has been defending the independence of their Motherland. The Day of the Republic unites everyone who honors the history of their state, who has been contributing to its development and prosperity as well as to the well-being of future generations.
The peoples of Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia are connected by strong fraternal ties, which form a solid foundation for the bilateral partnership. Today, in conditions of international instability and turbulence, friendly interstate relations are of particular importance. I am taking this opportunity to express confidence that cooperation between our countries, based on common values and aspirations, will continue to develop comprehensively.”
