The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal al-Mekdad on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic.
The message, in particular, reads:
“The signing ceremony held in Damascus on July 22, 2018 became the starting point for strengthening bilateral relations, which were enshrined in the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic, the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic dated July 23, 2018.
I am confident that the implementation of the provisions of these documents, as well as the achievement of understanding on other bilateral agreements, the drafts of which are being worked on, will serve to intensify the process of further constructive cooperation."
Akhsar Dzhioev also sent a congratulatory message to Bashar Jaafari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation.
