South Ossetia Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Jioev sent a greeting telegram to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Sergey Mironovich Shamba in connection with his jubilee.
The telegram says in particular:
“I testify to You the assurance of my unfailing respect, and I am given an honor in the name of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and personally from myself to pass You sincere anniversary greetings.
Your name rightfully ranks with the names of prominent statesmen of young State of Abkhazia who have devoted their lives to high principles of service to their Fatherland. Your high-mindedness, competence, exceptional humanity and conscientious attitude to the task entrusted to You have had an enormous importance in the establishment and development of Abkhazia statehood and strengthening of its foreign-policy. The vast experience accrued with age, strong qualifications and patriotism allow You to implement difficult tasks and find the solutions of the most complicates problems people and the Government of Abkhazia are facing today.
Your great personal contribution to strengthening and progressive development of fraternal Abkhazia-South-Ossetia relationships is highly appreciated in South Ossetia. Taking an advantage I ask You to accept the words of sincere gratitude for invariable attentive attitude towards South Ossetia, for prolific collaboration and friendly support.
