On September 23, a working meeting of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva International Discussions with the Co-Chairs of the Geneva Discussions from the EU, OSCE and UN took place in Tskhinval.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the agenda for the upcoming 54th round of the Geneva Discussions, scheduled for October 12 – 13 this year.

On September 1, in the city of Pesaro, activists of the Italian-Ossetian Friendship Society under the auspices of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in Italy visited the memorial dedicated to the heroes of the Italian anti-fascist movement and paid tribute to all those who died in the terrorist attack in Beslan in 2004.

On August 19-21, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D.N. Medoev paid a working visit to Abkhazia.

The visit took place within the framework of the Consultation Plan signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

On August 27 the Consul of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation Ya.A. Demeev received a group of South Ossetian cadets from the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School named after General of the Army V.F. Margelov, who takes part in the international military-technical forum “Army-2021”.

On the eve of the Day of recognition of the state independence of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation, the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Dmitrii Medoev congratulated the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and veterans of the diplomatic service on the holiday.

On August 12, on the island of Sardinia in the city of Cagliary, under the auspices of the Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in Italy, a commemorative action was held – a prayer service dedicated to the thirteenth anniversary of Georgia’s armed aggression against the Republic of South Ossetia.
