On September 1, in the city of Pesaro, activists of the Italian-Ossetian Friendship Society under the auspices of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in Italy visited the memorial dedicated to the heroes of the Italian anti-fascist movement and paid tribute to all those who died in the terrorist attack in Beslan in 2004.
The citizens of Italy were among the first to condemn the beastly crime, which entailed a huge number of victims. The Ossetian people are grateful to all citizens, the Parliament of the Italian Republic for their sympathy, support and memory of this tragic for the whole of Ossetia event.
These mournful days are also remembered in other cities of Italy, as well as in the Republic of San Marino, where local residents erected a bronze composition – monument to the children of Beslan in memory of this tragedy.
