On August 7, in the city of Pesaro, under the auspices of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in Italy, a commemorate action – prayer was held, dedicated to the thirteenth anniversary of the beginning of Georgia’s armed aggression against the Republic of South Ossetia.
Traditionally, next to the “Peace Tree” – a walnut tree planted in memory of the victims of the Georgian aggression in the Miralfiori Park, a group of friends of South Ossetia honored the memory of those killed as a result of the brutal Georgian aggression in August 2008 with a minute of silence.
The priest of the Orthodox Church of Pesaro, Father Giorgio, served a memorial service.
