The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of Russia Day
The congratulation, in particular, reads:
“The unity of the multinational people of Russia, its unbending will and creative love for the Motherland, which underlie this holiday, have at all times been and remain the foundation on which the Russian World reposes.
Despite the challenges of the time, the Russian Federation always firmly and rigorously advances its national interests and protects the rights of its citizens and compatriots, proving out with every step the status of a great power.
Honourable Sergey Viktorovich, Russia Day is also traditionally celebrated in South Ossetia, whose people cherish the unbroken bond of partnership and friendship that have developed between our countries. I am convinced that bilateral interstate cooperation will continue to contribute to maintaining peace and strengthening security and stability in Transcaucasia.”
