Akhsar Dzhioev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, sent a congratulatory letter to David Babayan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Artsakh.
The letter, in particular, reads:
Adoption of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic on September 2, 1991 became an important milestone in the latest history of the Artsakh people and laid the ground for bulding a modern independent state.
The Independence of the Republic of Artsakh became possible thanks to the heroic struggle of its people who had chosen the path of creating a sovereign state. Despite challenges, the Republic continues developing actively, demonstrating impressive success in social and economic spheres and working consistently on strengthening its position at international arena.
Your Excellence, our states and nations have many years lasting relations, based on friendship, mutual trust and support. I am convinced that the constructive interaction between foreign departments of our states would further serve for strengthening the bilateral cooperation between South Ossetia and Artsakh.
