December 8, 2017 saw a meeting of Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, with Laura Arys-Djanaeva, the President of Ossetian Association in France “Alania”, which marked the end of the visit of the Minister to France.
During the meeting the parties emphasized directions of practical interaction with the Ossetian community in France in cultural, scientific and humanitarian spheres. Mutual consent to maintain regular contacts and use the existing potential for overcoming common challenges was expressed.
The Minister highly appreciated the results of the visit to France, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, the substantial and constructive meeting with the diaspora and wished Laura Djanaeva and the Ossetian community in Paris prosperity and successful implementation of plans for the coming 2018.
