The Minister of RSO Foreign Affairs Murat Dzhioev addressed a congratulation telegram to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Finance of the Republic of Nauru Kieren Keke on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Nauru.
“Presenting my highest consideration to You I have the honour to direct You worm congratulations on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Nauru.
The day 31 of December 1968 became a symbol of freedom and unity in the history of Your people. That day was proclaimed a sovereign state – the Republic of Nauru. Was adopted a constitution and formed all the attributes of statehood. Nauru today is an independent democratic state and equal right member of the international community.
The people of South Ossetia are thankful to the Government of Nauru for recognition of our state and our backing at the international scene.
Here in South Ossetia we are sincerely interested in developing of existing bilateral engagement and hope the further broadening of mutual relations and its practical filling, no doubt, will become a significant factor in pursuing of full-format co-operation, will lay a solid base for the long-term and constructive friendly and partner relations of our states.
