A press conference of the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Dmitriy Medoev for the Italian media was organized in Rome in the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in Italy on October 18, 2017.
A meeting with Giulietto Chiesa, a representative of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia in the European Parliament, and a group of Italian friends of South Ossetia took place as well. A diplomatic passport of the Republic of South Ossetia was given to Mr. Chiesa during the meeting.
A meeting of the Minister with South Ossetian expats who currently reside in Italy was held on the same day.
The tour of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia across the Italian Republic will continue in Florence, where a meeting with Professor Franco Cardini, a famous historian, will take place.
