МОСКВА, 18 июл — РИА Новости. Tskhinval welcomes any steps aimed at settlement of the conflict in Donbass, stated South Ossetian Foreign Minister Dmitriy Medoev in his comment to RIA Novosti, made on the suggestion of Alexander Zakharchenko, the Head of self-declared Donetsk People’s Republic, to establish the state of Malorossiya.
Earlier Mr. Zakharchenko announced that since the situation in Ukraine had reached the dead-lock, creation of a new state of Malorossiya for the transition period up to three years could be a solution in these conditions.
“We in South Ossetia welcome any efforts that would promote establishment of peace in Donbass… We hope that this initiative would give a new impulse to peaceful solution of the problem and would assist in ending the deadlock”, stated the Minister.
