On 17 March the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev took part in the solemn events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding state and public figure of South Ossetia Znaur Gassiev.
The event began with laying flowers at the tomb of Znaur Gassiev in the village of Buzala, Dzau district.
On 11 March, a meeting was held in Beslan with the support of the Beslan City Administration and the Mothers of Beslan Committee between Alan Gabaraev, Head of the Tskhinval City Administration, and Filippo Gasperi, Mayor of Gradara (Italy), who is visiting the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
Attention was drawn to the statements of the Georgian Foreign Minister Maki Bochorishvili in an interview with the Spanish agency EFE, in which she voiced a kind of ‘reference points’ of the old-new Georgian foreign policy, in particular, stating that “her country does not want a new war with Russia, but does not refuse membership in NATO and the European Union (EU)”.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev on the occasion of his birthday.

On 27 February, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A. M. Dzhioev took part in the memorial evening of Nafi Grigorievich Dzhusoity, which was held at the Russian Culture Foundation in Moscow.
On February 27, in Moscow, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Republic of South Ossetia Alba Azucena Torres Mejía.
On 25 February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev took part in the round table “Memorial diplomacy as a way of preserving the common historical memory of the peoples of post-Soviet countries”.
On 23 February the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev and employees of the Ministry took part in a solemn ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the Memorial to the Defenders of South Ossetia and at the chapel of the Memorial Cemetery in the yard of secondary school No. 5, timed to the Day of Defender of the Fatherland and the 32nd anniversary of the Ministry of Defence of South Ossetia.
On 20 February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A. M. Dzhioev took part in the meeting of the reporting board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which was devoted to the work of the foreign policy department in 2024.
On February 11, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev hosted a meeting with Head of the ICRC Mission in the Republic of South Ossetia Said Assadullah and the ICRC Envoy on missing persons in the Caucasus Agnes Coutou.
A working meeting of the South Ossetian delegation at the GID with the Co-chairs of the Discussions, representing the EU, the OSCE and the UN, took place in Tskhinval on February 11.
