A meeting of the South Ossetian delegation at the GID with the Co-chairs of the Discussions, representing the EU, the OSCE and the UN, took place in Tskhinval on November 8.
Issues, related to organizing the forthcoming 57th round of the Discussion, scheduled for February 2023, were discussed during the meeting.

November 3, saw Andrey Tskhovrebov, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Jesús Rafael Salazar Velásquez, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of South Ossetia, who presented copies of credentials.
Negotiations between the South Ossetian and Russian Foreign Ministers Akhsar Dzhioev and Sergey Lavrov were held in Moscow on November 1.
On October 15-16, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Benelux countries Radion Pukhaev participated in the 15th conference of Russian organizations in Europe, which was held at the platform of Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul.
October 11 saw the launch of the Caucasus Eagle 2022 joint military exercises, held by special military forces of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey at the military base Mukhrovani, near Tbilisi. The purpose of the exercises is sharing experience, improving professional capacity and management among military units of the three states. Earlier, on October 7, Georgia signed an agreement with Turkey on supply of armored vehicles which comply with NATO standards.
October 5 saw this year’s first round of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia. Delegations from the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, Georgia, the Russian Federation, the United States, as well as representatives of the EU, UN and OSCE participated in work of the Discussions. Konstantin Kochiev, State Adviser to the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, headed the South Ossetian delegation.
The South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev sent a congratulatory letter to the Abkhaz Foreign Minister Inal Ardzinba on the occasion the Independence Day of the Republic of Abkhazia.
