On October 15-16, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Benelux countries Radion Pukhaev participated in the 15th conference of Russian organizations in Europe, which was held at the platform of Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul.
The topic of the conference was “Protection of the rights and legitimate interests of Russian compatriots”. Representatives of more than 70 coordinating centers of compatriots in Europe, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation as well as organizations of Russian compatriots in Turkey participated in the event.
During his visit to Istanbul Radion Pukhaev met with Burhan Hosity, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Turkey. Radion Pukhaev and Burhan Hosity exchanged opinion on issues of bilateral interest, marked the importance of cultural and educational work carried out by Ossetian diasporas, aimed at preserving the Ossetian language and culture and strengthening ties with Ossetia.
