Negotiations between the South Ossetian and Russian Foreign Ministers Akhsar Dzhioev and Sergey Lavrov were held in Moscow on November 1.
The parties exchanged opinion on relevant issues of the bilateral political agenda and the perspectives of further strengthening cooperation in various areas of the interstate interaction.
The negotiations were held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Andrey Tskhovrebov, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, and Znaur Gassiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation, participated in the meeting on the South Ossetian side.
Bilateral consultations were held in the Russian Foreign Ministry on the same day, at which relevant issues of the bilateral relations, the problems of maintaining and strengthening of the existing system of regional security, including the state of affairs of the Geneva International Discussions at the background of the international situation, were discussed in detail.
