David Sanakoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Jan Mishkots, the Chief Representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of South Ossetia, on February, 26 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

David Sanakoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, took part in a news conference that was held within the project “Open government” and run in the press center of the State Committee on Information and Press on February, 25.
“The Agreement on the frontier between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation” has been signed on February 18, 2015 in Moscow. The ceremony took place within the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D. G. Sanakoev to the capital of the Russian Federation. The agreement was signed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs - D. G. Sanakoev on South Ossetian side and S. V. Lavrov on Russian side.
A monument dedicated to a participant of the Civil war in Spain (1936-1939), a national hero of the USSR and the prototype of the central character of the world known novel "For whom the bell tolls" written by Ernest Hemingway Haji-Umar D. Mamsurov was opened on February, 16 in Fuenlabrad.
D.G. Sanakoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, an official mission from North Ossetia headed by the President of the Republic Taimuraz Mamsurov, Khadzhi-Umar's daughter Asya and grandson Sergio Hernandez took part in the monument’s official opening ceremony.
The Plenipotentiary of the President of RSO on post-conflict settlement M. K. Dzhioev heading representatives of the Ossetian side on the Geneva International Discussions met the Co-chairmen of the Geneva Discussions who visited Tskhinval on February, 16.
Current issues of the forthcoming 31st round of the discussions that is held on March, 17-18, 2015 has been talked over.
On 27 of December the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev played host for the delegation of Donetsk People Republic MFA headed by DPR Foreign Minister A. I. Kofman who came to Tskhinval with a working visit.
On 2 of September the delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia headed by the Foreign Minister D. G. Sanakoev took part in the celebrations in Tiraspol dedicated to the 24th anniversary of Transdnistrian Moldovan Republic establishment.
Consular agency of the Republic of South Ossetia was officially opened in Vladikavkaz on November, 21, 2014.
D. S. Kulumbegov, the Prime Minister of RSO, D. G. Sanakoev the Minister of Foreign Affairs of RSO, S. K. Takoev, the Prime Minister of RNO-Alania, E.K. Kargiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in RSO, and other officials participated in the ceremony.
On 8 of September Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Abkhazia O. I. Botsiev arrived to Tskhinval for consultations.
Ambassador met with the President of the Republic of South Ossetia L. H. Tibilov. The meeting was also participated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D. G. Sanakoev.
Amendments made on August 4, 2014 in the Federal law “Of citizenship of Russian Federation” and some legislative acts of Russian Federation oblige Russian citizens to inform about availability of foreign citizenship, residence permit or any other actual document of permission to permanent residence in foreign state.
Thus, RSO citizens with Russian citizenship ought to notify in written form the territorial authority FMS of Russia of their place of residence about RSO citizenship in 60 days (till 4 October 2014) after the entry into force of these amendments.

On 14 of July 2014 by decree of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia L. H. Tibilov Sanakoev David Georgievich was appointed at the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia.

A working meeting between members of delegation of South Ossetia at Geneva Discussions headed by Presidential Envoy on post conflict resolution Murat Jioev with Co-Chairmen of Geneva Discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia, representing EU, OSCE and UN, took place in Tskhinval on 15 June 2014.
The main subject of the meeting was devoted to preparatory work on 29th round of Geneva Discussions planned for beginning of October.
