Within the framework of the visit of Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, to Italy, a meeting of the Minister with Alberto Drudi, the Chair of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pesaro -Urbino, the Head of Italian-Russian sector of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took place on October 16, 2017.
During the meeting Minister Medoev expressed gratitude for the invitation and opportunity to get acquainted with the commercial and economic possibilities of the region. The Minister marked that South Ossetia was ready for cooperation in many different areas and would be glad to welcome Italian businessmen in the Republic.
In his turn Mr. Drudi told about the business potential and economic opportunities of the Province of Pesaro-Urbino and expressed hope that the meeting would promote further development of the bilateral business contacts.
The meeting was held in the spirit of constructivism.
A press conference by Foreign Minister Medoev for the Italian media was hold in the Government of Pesaro-Urbino on the same day.
