Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Alan Elbakiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of South Ossetia, on October 20, 2017.
The Minister informed the Ambassador about the results of recent visits to Italy, San-Marino and Catalonia and told about meetings held at different levels, where friendly relations and joint stands of South Ossetia and Abkhazia had been emphasized.
Minister Medoev marked that the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry would further follow the Plan of Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia and Abkhazia for 2017-2018, signed in June 2017, which important aspect was maintaining a mutually beneficial cooperation at the international arena.
At the end of the meeting the Minister asked the Ambassador to send to the Abkhazian Foreign Minister Daur Kove the best wishes and assure the honorable Ministry of continuation of the course aimed at interaction between the two foreign ministries.
