Medoev, during his working trip to Moscow at the invitation of the Nicaraguan side, took part in a gala reception on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista revolution, which was held at the Embassy of Nivaragua in the Russian Federation.

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent a message to the President of the Republic of South Ossetia A. I. Bibilov, which contains a request for pardon of the citizen of Georgia Z. On June 29-30, 2021, another round of the International Discussions on Security in the Transcaucasia took place in Geneva. It was attended by delegations from the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, Georgia, the Russian Federation, the United States, as well as representatives of the EU, UN and OSCE. The South Ossetian delegation was headed by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President for post-conflict settlement M.K.

For several years in a row, Georgia has been submitting to the United Nations General Assembly a draft resolution on refugees and displaced persons from Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Repeating from year to year the text of the document, Georgia is trying to impose on the world community a one-sided, politicized and distorted vision of the refugee problem in order to reinforce its illegitimate territorial claims.

On June 8, a working meeting of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva International Discussions, headed by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement M.K. Dzhioev, and the Co-Chairs of the Geneva Discussions from the EU, OSCE and UN took place in Tskhinval.
