Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vladimir Valerievich Yastrebchack has passed away.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent a note of condolences to the family and friends of V. Yastrebchack:
“With deep sorrow I have received the news of the untimely passing of one of the most outstanding representatives of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, a true patriot and decent son of Pridnestrovie, a political figure and a diplomat Vladimir Valerievich Yastrebchack.
An extraordinary, kind, caring man of immense spiritual power and inner dignity, with exceptional leadership and professional qualities is no longer with us.
An entire era of the Pridnestrovian diplomatic service is inextricably linked with the name of Vladimir Valerievich. His active contribution to the development of the South Ossetian-Pridnestrovian relations and cooperation between the foreign policy agencies is hard to be overestimated.
On behalf of the stuff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia and my own behalf I extend my deepest condolences.
