Leonid Tibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with the official delegation of the Moldovan Transdniestrian Republic, headed by Alexander Kisnichan, Deputy Head of Government and Government Chief of Staff, on September 2, 2015 in Tskhinval.
Andrej Tskhovrebov, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the meeting.
On behalf of Evgeny Shevchuk, the President of Pridnestrovie, the Head of Transdniestrian delegation awarded President Tibilov with First Class Order of Merit, a National Award of the Moldovan Transdniestrian Republic, and presented memorable gifts.
On his turn South Ossetia President congratulated the guests with the 25th Jubilee of the Republic of Pridnestrovie and wished peace, prosperity and success to all people of the Republic.
Silver coins commemorating the 155th birthday of Kosta Khetagurov, a great Ossetian poet, dramatist, publicist and social activist, were presented to members of the delegation.
