In connection with the armed assault in Diseu village

On 15 of June 2010 Diseu village of Tskhinval district, the Republic of South Ossetia was fired from the police post in Koshki village, Georgia. As a result of this incident three fire-arms wounds received a citizen of South Ossetia Anatoly Kisiev, and his 15-year old son Robert Kisiev was detained and badly beaten, then released.

Geneva, 8 June 2010
On 8 of June 2010 Geneva played host for the eleventh meeting within the framework of international discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia. Discussions participating on equal grounds by delegations of the Republic of Abkhazia, Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, Russia and US are held in accordance with Medvedev-Sarcozi agreements of the 12th of August and of the 8th of September 2008.

Q. European Parliament supported the main conclusions of the report of the independent international EU commission headed by Heidi Tagliavini on the investigation of circumstances of armed conflict in South Ossetia, in line with it the war in South Ossetia was launched by Georgia. Do you think that Tagliavini’s conclusions will influence on the policy of the West support of current Georgian regime?

The Transnistrian Moldovan Republic Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Yastrebchak directed a greeting message to the Republic of South Ossetia Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Dzhioev in connection with the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic war. The message particularly says:

The Russian Federation Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov directed a greeting message to the Republic of South Ossetia Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Dzhioev in connection with the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic war. The message particularly says:

“Sincerely congratulate You and the personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia with the momentous date of the common history of our peoples – 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War”.

In view of the Day of national mourning on 20th of May the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Transdnistrian-Moldovan Republic Vladimir Yastrebchak directed a telegram to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Djioev. It is told specifically in the telegram:

“A 20th of May 1992 will forever remain in the memory of people of South Ossetia as a day of terrible tragedy, an evidence of inhumanity of the effective Georgian regime.

On the 13th of May was held the working meeting of the Plenipotentiary representative of the President of RSO on post conflict regulation Boris Chochiev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Dzhioev and the members of South Ossetian delegation of the Geneva Discussions for the security in Transcaucasia with the official delegation of the Geneva Discussions Co-Chairs.

On 27 of April the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Djioev plaid host to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Transdnistria-Moldova Republic Vladimir Yastrebchak who was on official visit to the Republic of South Ossetia.

During the conversation a wide specter of issues pertaining to mutual relations was discussed as well as the questions of further interaction within the framework of Association “For democracy and human wrights”.
