August 26 saw the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev hosting a meeting with a delegation from the Donetsk People’s Republic, headed by Sergey Peresada, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Donetsk, who arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the celebrations, dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation.
The Minister thanked the delegation for the arrival and wished the people of Donetsk prosperity and speedy establishment of peace.
In his turn, Sergey Peresada congratulated Akhsar Dzhioev with the holiday and emphasized that despite the difficult situation in Donetsk was happy to share joy of celebrating the significant date with the fraternal South Ossetian people.
The parties discussed range of issues of the bilateral cooperation and shared opinion on terms of international agenda.
