Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D.N. Medoev sent a message to the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea – Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation G.L. Muradov on behalf of the South Ossetian branch of the International Association “Friends of Crimea”.
The message, in particular, says:
The South Ossetian branch of the “Friends of Crimea” International Association expresses its solidarity and support to the people and authorities of the Republic of Crimea in countering destructive forces trying to prevent the positive development of the republic, to slow down the processes of economic and social development of the peninsula.
Observing the anti-Crimean and anti-Russian campaign launched by current Ukrainian authorities and their sponsors, we express strong support to the fraternal people of the Republic of Crimea, the decision adopted by the overwhelming majority of the population of the peninsula at the referendum on reunification with Russia!
No forces will be able to destroy this unity! The Republic of Crimea is a historical, integral and legal part of the Russian Federation!
