Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D.N. Medoev answered the question of the correspondent of Sputnik South Ossetia IA about the creation of a government commission in Georgia to develop and implement the “State strategy for de-occupation and peaceful resolution of conflicts”.
Dmitrii Medoev, in particular, noted:
“This is another Georgian-American project that is doomed to failure.
We expected that the announcement of the new Georgian-American project would happen a little earlier, since the old projects ceased to exist. It did not work to lure us with “steps to a better future”, although a lot of money was spent. European taxpayer money, by the way. Today we see new ideas with an even bigger budget. There is nothing you can do about it, apparently the “friends of Georgia” have no other ways to support the Georgian budget. The fact that the new project is initially doomed, like all the previous ones, does not bother any of the Western donors - nothing personal, just business”.
