Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D.N. Medoev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov on the occasion of Russia Day.
The congratulation, in particular, says:
Respect for the history, the inextricable centuries-old bond between generations and the strong bonds of brotherhood of the nations of multinational Russia at all times have served and continue to serve as an unshakable foundation for national unity, harmony and cohesion. This holiday unites Russian citizens around the world with its special atmosphere and emotions - pride for their country, the desire to work and create for the benefit of a strong, developed and prosperous Russian state.
The Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation are bound by the inviolable traditions of friendship, mutual support and alliance, laid down by many generations of founders and keepers of our common history. I am convinced that close interaction between the diplomatic services of our countries will continue to contribute to the strengthening of the bilateral cooperation and integration, to the solution of important foreign policy tasks in the interests of our fraternal nations.
