July 29 saw a meeting of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatolii Bibilov with representatives of the Ossetian communities from different counties of the world – the participants of cultural education project Ethnolager 2018 – Trace of the Alans.
Dmitrii Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, participated in the meeting as well.
During the meeting, which was held in the Ossetian language, Anatolii Bibilov welcomed the guests and marked that their visit to the historical Motherland is important, as the Ossetians regardless of the place of residence in the world should keep in mind their roots and native tongue.
The Head of the State briefly told the participants of the project about his recent official visit to the Syrian Arab Republic and the meeting with the Ossetians residing in Syria.
In their turn representatives of the communities shared the expressions of the stay in South Ossetia, tours around Tskhinval and the visit to sanctuary Dzher.
