The International Criminal Court has completed the investigation of war crimes, committed during the full-scale military aggression of Georgia against South Ossetia in August 2008 and does not intend to commit any further investigations.
On December 18, in Rome, in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, a protest action against the decision of the EU Council on non-recognition of Russian passports issued, among others, in territories of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, was organized by Mauro Murgia, Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in Italy.
