On 5 July the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela celebrates the Independence Day. On this day in 1811 deputies of the National Congress of Venezuela signed the Declaration of Independence from the Spanish crown.

At the initiative of the Georgian delegation, a paragraph calling on the Syrian authorities to withdraw recognition of the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia was included in the final declaration of the 32nd session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly held in Portugal. This is apart from the standard appeals of this kind to Russia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia sent a congratulatory message to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on the occasion of Independence Day.

June 25-26, 2025 saw the 64th round of the International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia, established in accordance with Medvedev – Sarkozy agreements, dated August 12, 2008 and September 8, 2008. Delegations from the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, Georgia, the Russian Federation, the USA, co-chaired by representatives of the EU, the UN, and the OSCE participated in the meeting.

On June 22, Belarus commemorates the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People.
