Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A. M. Dzhioev sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Venezuela’s Independence Day

On 5 July the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela celebrates the Independence Day. On this day in 1811 deputies of the National Congress of Venezuela signed the Declaration of Independence from the Spanish crown.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Ivan Gil Pinto on the occasion of Venezuela's national holidays.

In particular, the congratulatory message states:

“The day of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence has become a symbol of the eternal values of freedom, national unity and faith in justice in the history of the heroic people of Venezuela. On this day - 5 July 1811 - Venezuela was consolidated into a single state, marking the beginning of a new historical era of nation-building.

The country, which gave the world such outstanding heroes as Francisco Miranda, Simon Bolivar, Hugo Chavez, today highly honours its past, worthily defends the interests of its people at the present stage for a free and prosperous future”.

Akhsar Dzhioev also sent a congratulatory message to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of South Ossetia Jesus Rafael Salazar Velasquez.
