Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent a congratulatory letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of his appointment to the post.
The letter, in particular, reads:
“The most experienced diplomat and patriot of Russia, a person with high moral qualities, a strong and consistent supporter of balanced and responsible decisions, thanks to the highest professionalism, you have been successfully defending the national interests of the Russian Federation.
I strongly believe that your consistency and principled stand would give impetus to the process of improving the strategic partnership of the Russian Federation with friendly states, to shaping multipolarity and strengthening peace.
While noting with pleasure the high level of cooperation between our countries, the ongoing development and enhancing of the bilateral integration process, I would like to express gratitude for your personal contribution and comprehensive assistance in strengthening the South Ossetian-Russian friendly relations.”
