Following the information provided by the Ministry of Defence of Syria, on November 27, militants of Hay’et Tahrir al-Sham terrorist organization, in violation of the de-escalation agreement, attacked the territory controlled by the Syrian authorities in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib.
According to Syrian military department, the terrorists suffered losses in manpower and equipment. According to Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides, as a result of the retaliatory actions of the Syrian army, at least 400 militants were killed.
South Ossetia condemns the increase of tensions by terrorist groups, and, while emphasizing the importance of abiding by the agreements, expresses support for the official Damascus.
